Society Description

Chemistry is an omnipresent part of everyday life, especially in the modern world. The Chemistry Society provides an excellent opportunity to explore your interest in chemistry through enrichment week activities and research projects. You will also experience chemistry concepts you may not have encountered before through fun experiments. If you want to learn more about chemistry beyond the classroom, the Chemistry Society is for you!

Society Project Description

What Makes Us Special

The Chemistry Society explores chemistry in various fields, including biology, physics, and everyday life. We engage in a variety of activities throughout the year. Every other week, we conduct fun experiments—I introduce the theory first, and then all members have the chance to try the experiment during the meeting. In addition to experiments, you can also work on research projects or create posters on designated topics within the Chemistry Society.

Since Chemistry Enrichment Week is two weeks after the Easter break, we are focusing on preparations for it this term. We have planned various corridor activities and divided teams based on members' interests. Members will need to research their assigned projects and create their booths. This will allow them to apply their creativity and explore chemistry beyond the curriculum.
