Society Description

Unlike the past academic year which didn't have much interactive projects, the current and the next academic year will feature various projects consistently, allowing students to better understand Architecture and foster their knowledge in this field. Moreover, these projects will not be restricted to those who already know much about architecture - they are beginner-friendly, requiring relatively low knowledge to follow.

What Makes Us Special

The NLCS Jeju ARCSOC is an organisation in which students solve real-world problems through conversation and artistic flair. They can delve deep into the field of architecture through direct and indirect experiences, understanding the basic elements as well as the complex elements within it.

Currently, students are participating in a model making project where they arrange sponge blocks to make a basic structure of a building, and then render that to make an actual model. In the enrichment week, our society arranged a "Tower Building Challenge", an interactive event where people are able to construct their own tower using paper cups. Towards the future, our society will try to expand the scale and impact of our activities, inducing change to the environment around us.
